Cinear Produções have realized projects in a great number of different communities. The projects seek to promote a positive social impact through cultural, educational and environmental actions. Among the proposed activities, common to all of them, is research on the local history and culture, the documenting of every step of the project, the setting up of cinema structure for the outdoor screenings and the production and showing of documentaries about each community visited by the project. In recent editions we have also added educational activities on the environment and sustainability.

Cinema Sustentável Kuará
The largest outdoor cinema equipment in Brazil that uses solar power for its screenings
Cinema no Rio São Francisco
The project travels through riverside communities along the São Francisco River. The first edition took place in 2004 and, since then, the project has visited the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, Pernambuco, Alagoas and Sergipe, contemplating over 500 thousand people.
Cinema nos trilhos
Between 2005 and 2008, the project produced documentaries and brought cinema to communities in the states of Maranhão, Pará, Bahia, Goiás, Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, located alongside the railroads Centro-Atlântica, Carajás and Vítória-Minas. The project was, together with Fundação Vale, awarded the National and Regional (north and northeast) Aberje Prize in the “Communication and Relationship with the Community” category.
Sons no Vale
The project brought workshops on music, professional lighting and audio engineering to the Jequitinhonha River Valley, staying 5 days in each community. On the last day in each community, there was a concert in which the students were themselves the performers, sound technicians and lighting technicians, followed by a film screening
Magia do Cinema
This project arose with the intent of valuing the local culture, stimulating communities to remember their history and interact with the public spaces in their cities through the act of coming together for public outdoor movie screenings. Under this project, 47 screenings were realized between 2006-2008 and 2014-2016.
Na tela do Cinema
This project aimed to contribute to the democratization of access to culture, through the dissemination of the language of cinema to cities in Minas Gerais’ countryside. It took place in 2009, 2011 and 2013, realizing a grand total of 86 film screenings.
Cinema ao Luar
Developed in collaboration with Anglo American, the project realized several film screenings between 2017 and 2018 in the communities within the company’s area of operation.
Circuito Usiminas de Cinema
This project realized film screenings in tandem with photography workshops in communities in the countryside of Brazil, in collaboration with Usiminas, with the goal of bringing the company closer to the communities within its area of operation.
Mãos à obra
This project proposes taking the activities inside construction sites all over the country, bringing fun and recognition to the workers.
Gasmig Cine Grátis
Through the use of cinema, we traveled through communities alongside Gasmig’s gas pipeline, bringing culture and entertainment, as well as producing short documentaries about each town, which would be then screened before the feature film
Cemig Cine Grátis
We traveled through many cities in Minas Gerais, resorting to cultural and educational activities to build relationships with the communities.
